I have six years of experience working in healthcare, four of which have been in surgery. The operating room is such a specialized field of healthcare that not many people are privy to what happens beyond the red line. What that means for you is I personally know the inner workings of the surgical field, and the parameters of patient consent. I know not only the standards of care for the operating room, I’m an expert on how staffing and delegation decisions and facility policies and procedures, as well as decisions that are made quickly during a procedure affect patient outcomes.
